Dear Mr. Hallifax,

I beg to acknowledge receipt of your

letter of the 29th instant, enclosing a ratsa translation

of an article from the Man Kwok Yat Po of the 20th December

1926.

There is no foundation whatever in the

statement made about me: it is absolutely untrue.

I shall therefore be much obliged if you

will kindly so inform His Excellency the Governor.
